When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the following personal information:

- Suburb of interest
- Your stated marketing preferences (package type, apartment handling, order quantity)
- Any additional information you voluntarily include in the message field
We also collect non-personal data automatically through Google Analytics, including pages visited, time on site, device type and approximate geographic region. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information you provide solely for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your campaign requirements
- To plan and execute your letterbox marketing run
- To send you Strava GPS delivery confirmation data after your run
- To contact you regarding your campaign, including updates, mockup approvals and scheduling
We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, do not sell your data to third parties, and do not share it with any party not directly involved in delivering your campaign.
How We Store Your Information
Enquiry submissions are processed through Formspree and delivered directly to our email inbox. We do not operate a central customer database. Information you provide is retained in email correspondence only for as long as it is needed to manage your campaign relationship with us.
Suburb availability data is stored via JSONBin.io, a third-party key-value storage service. This data records suburb spot availability and anonymised submission records for spam prevention. No personally identifiable information beyond email address is stored in this system.
Your Rights Under Australian Privacy Law
Drop Local operates in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of any inaccurate or out-of-date information
- Request that we delete your information, subject to any legal obligations
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy rights have been breached
